We love our living spaces - which is lucky because you spend most of your time at home in the living room! This is our forever home - so we need these spaces to suit our family now and our family in 20 years time. For our main living room, we wanted an open plan kitchen-living-dining with a nice even flow throughout the space. We wanted the area to feel spacious but without feeling like we were forever cleaning, so instead of pushing the floor plan out we opted for nice high ceilings with a curved detail.

We LOVE that the kids have a separate rumpus area, between their bedrooms. A built in curved lounge sets the tone of the space, which is balanced by a sculptural (but very practical and easy to clean) coffee table. Our kids love stretching out in here and later down the track it'll be the perfect extra space when they also have families to bring home.
