I discovered Studio KO a few years ago when I first started travelling to Morocco; founded by the ridiculously talented duo Alias Karl Fournier & Olivier Marty, they now have a stack of amazing designs under their belt including the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech.
BUT it was this home in particular that really sparked my interest and has influenced some elements of my own home - including that INCREDIBLE window framing the view in the bathroom. With a true respect towards its landscape and a minimalist design approach, Villa E sits atop a lonely hill an hour away from Marrakech and featured local materials such as the warm, red toned Ourika stone. While it is simplistic in design, it is FULL of beautiful texture, lines and tones with hidden design elements around every corner. And how about that stunning reflection pond!?
